We don’t run any tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies of our own on this site, and we don’t collect or store your personal information ourselves. The only information that gets collected is the minimum needed to process an order, and that’s handled directly by our payment and store providers — not by us.
What we don’t do
- We don’t set our own cookies, analytics, or ad-tracking scripts.
- We don’t maintain a customer database or mailing list of our own.
- We don’t sell, rent, or share anyone’s information — we don’t have any to share.
What happens when you buy something
Where’s Fred? is sold through Stan Store (for the PDF) and through Stripe (for hardcover orders). When you make a purchase, your name, email, shipping address, and payment details are collected and processed directly by those companies, not by us — that’s simply how the order gets to you and how payment gets processed. Those providers use cookies and collect data as part of running their checkout and preventing fraud, in line with their own privacy policies:
We only see what’s needed to fulfill your order — your name and shipping address for hardcover orders, for example — and we use it for exactly that.
